YouTube hit Australian trio SketchShe share a lip sync medley of classic tracks that will brighten your day
When she lived in London, Lana Kington worked with me on the launch of a drinks brand. Now back in Australia, this 25-year old blonde bombshell has suddenly found fame after posting a series of YouTube videos that she has made with two of her friends.
Operating as a group named SketchShe, this “saucy Australian trio” came to public attention after one of their “lip sync medleys” was shared on Twitter by Queen’s lead guitarist Brian May. Titled Bohemian Carsody and performed in a Suzuki Swift, the parody has attracted over 18.6 million views on YouTube and acres of press coverage.
Continuing the theme – and this time going topless – Kington and her friends Shae-Lee Shackleford, 28, and Maidson Lloyd, 27, returned to the channel this week with what they call a Mime Through Time It features fourteen classic hits ranging from The Andrews Sisters’ 1931 hit Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy to Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball and we simply had to make this our Video of the Week.
