The property on offer is situated in front of the Hawksmoor designed Christ Church Spitalfields

Converted into a restaurant and bar circa 2001, the “charming and quirky premises” has space for about 60 customers and extends to about 600 square foot in total. It is offered by Clarke & Lloyds Property Consultants and has been derelict since a previous nightclub – which was amusingly named Public Life – closed in 2012 after having its licence revoked by the London borough of Tower Hamlets council.

The buyer plainly will be some who is feeling flush.

  1. Someone should tell the greedy vendor to bog off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally ridiculous price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. There is a lot of history, many moved their bowels there, depending on the size per square meter, it could me turned into a public house, like in “Cheers” and still have a brand new lavatory and all.
