UKIP’s “big announcement” was nothing but a big disappointment
UKIP made a song and a dance about a sorry cabal of defectors in the run up to David Cameron’s speech to the Conservative Party conference on Wednesday and they promised a “big announcement” prior to the evening’s news headlines. All they produced, in reality, was what Media Guido termed a “damp squib” in sharing that one turncoat, a non-entity named Arron Banks, had upped his donation to the party from £100,000 to £1 million.
Banks is a man plainly in the same league of stupidity as EuroMillions winners Chris and Colin Weir – who wasted some £3.5 million funding Scotland’s failed independence – and that UKIP laud this as news speaks volumes as to the path on which this protest movement is headed.
UKIP has consistently failed to get above 30% in the polls and that is where they’ll likely stay. Whilst the likes of Jacob Rees-Mogg have advocated a pact with Nigel Farage and his merry band of beer swillers, the Conservatives should stand firm. Britain is a centrist nation and the reaction to David Cameron’s “barnstorming speech” yesterday is indication that the electorate are coming to realise that is the best place to be.
The political tide is changing and it’s starting to look as if the “wet kippers” are going off. Our advice to the next wave of potential defectors is simple: Don’t tighten those lines.

David Cameron is all style and no substance….like his predictable speech.
What ordinary people need to know is:
1. when will he extricate us from the £50 million a day EU
2. slash immigration to the levels of Japan( I think they allowed 36 to settle last year!)
3. Cut overseas aid by 80%
4. and finally start talking to UKIP instead of throwing puerile insults.

What I like about the EU leadership is that, unlike Cameron, they don’t lie. They have made perfectly clear that
there will be no substantive changes to EU structure, nor an end to plans to federalise Europe.
Not to want to understand that indicates one is a bit thick.
Oh and another thing…Arron Banks has a formidable reputation in the insurance industry. And, unlike the those who insult him, has created a number of highly successful companies and a very large fortune.
The only fortune politicians of today seem to garner is by stealing from us.
To describe Banks as a nobody is just idiotic. When he was giving money to the sycophantic Tories they were all over him like a cheap suit. When he finally decides they are useless they get all hurt and sulky and start schoolyard name calling.
