Danielle Rollins

Danielle Rollins (née Danielle Deaton)Described as being “vivacious” and a “tastemaker”, Danielle Rollins admits to having been a “very odd child”. Married to Glen Rollins – a member of the controversial Atlanta based dynasty and owners of the pest-control giant Orkin, between 1995 and 2013 – “very connected” Rollins is a mother of three and the author of Soirée: Entertaining with Style. She describes herself as “channeling the style of Grace Kelly, the wit of Lucille Ball, and the decorating and entertaining approach of Dorothy Draper (mixed with a little fantasy from the ever-imaginative, flamboyant Elsie de Wolfe)” and of the warring Rollins once told Forbes: “It’s like a Greek tragedy”.

  1. American women take silliness to unthought of levels….scion of a pest control gian. Sound like he married a giant pest

  2. Great website Danielle. It highlights some really useful details for those of us who like to entertain. I’ve ordered a copy of your book.

    1. You have to be American….do you have your own ‘tastemaker’.
No wonder the world is in trouble with such a self indulgent bunch of weirdo’s running most of it

        1. I have. All that happens is that it attracts nonentities like you to say, ” how lovely;Peter has said something nice”

        1. Third raters always detest quality…especially from a race who once ran the world and seem to have invented most things of any importance. Relax, and just admit the British have a special gene…

          1. I don’t ‘do’ pleasant comments very often and certainly not when the subject is some parvenu ratcatching ‘dynasy’ from the boondocks

  3. Thank you! I am appreciative of the accolades but I am no longer married to Mr. Rollins, nor a part of the drama, by choice, but more so by hook & by crook(s) & a last name. I have & I am making my own marks on the world! So a butterfly, yes, but one that’s emerging from a cocoon, getting rid of a pest & moving onward & upward! https://www.Facebook.com/DanielleDRollins https://www.instagram.com/danielledrollins http://www.DanielleDRollins.com https://twitter.com/drollinsstyle

  4. It would be MUCH better if you interviewed Glen Rollin’s NEW PARAMORE! Morgan Pickard! Much classier and prettier than the ex!

  5. Matthew,Morgan is most certainly not a lady and is often referred to as the Tennessee Tart in Atlanta and beyond. She’s certainly nothing to write about in your Steeple Times as she is most of her time busy bragging about shopping and things she has purchased as well as cleaning her pores on facebook. Morgan ,as many american girls must realize that dating money does not a socialite or style icon make.

    1. Considering you were at dinner with Glen and I recently, I find your comments really interesting. See you soon Sherry! XOXO!

  6. I appreciate that Steeples Times is read in the US but do we really have to read about people like the ratching Rollins family….so common it makes me ill

  7. I just find the negativity level profoundly interesting…..Especially the unhappy Peter Wayde….concentrate on your own life Sir!
The Rollins’,Glen in particular, aren’t altruistic or sophisticated enough to realize just what an asset Danielle was to their family.
    Time will tell….

    1. “Congratulations to James Von Kreuzberg for winning the personalized copy of my book, Soiree Entertaining with Style, and referring the most friends to my page! Please be on the look out for an email from me with details on how to receive your book.
Stay tuned for more giveaways coming up on the blog – http://danielledrollins.com – and on Facebook over the upcoming weeks!” Ratcatcher’s ex!

      Just too ghastly!

  8. James…I don’t understand a word of what you are saying. Frankly, I couldn’t give a damn about some backwoods American family whose fortune is founded on catching rats and cockroaches.
Being German. you probably have had a sense of humour by pass op. I find the whole saga hilarious.
Evelyn Waugh( a writer you doubtless have never heard of) would have found it all very droll
