Lara Asprey (AKA “Lady Lara”)

Lara Asprey (AKA “Lady Lara”)The founder of The Sloane Arranger describes herself as a “VIP matchmaker … to people who, let’s face it, are a little bit Sloaney”. Educated at St George’s, Ascot and the author of The Very British Rules of Dating, Lara Asprey has been dubbed the “posh version of Carrie Bradshaw” and suggests Fera at Claridge’s and The Ivy Chelsea Garden as “fabulous places to take a date”. Her suggestion to girls is: “Get better at banter” and “be a ‘yes’ person – don’t let British reserve hold you back”. She is, herself, “available for personal appearances”.

  1. A good business but is she actually qualified to do this? I question her abilities given the nonsense I read in the Mail.

  2. Horrible and irrelevant comment..admittedly the vid is a bit ‘wooden’. However, there is a market for good matchmakers and there always has been [in all cultures]. Money or not, most women or ‘crumpet’ with any sense or breeding would subtly avoid a man or should I say ‘boy’ with such immature & distorted views, he would never know the difference. Just carry on ‘shopping’ and enjoy the emptiness.

    1. Lord Sewel is scoring without the services of matchmakers and even eats off crumpet. He is not common riff raff, he is bloody a Lord and represents the establishment. I personally are a man of God and only mix with religious women. Kensington and Chelsea is a hotbed for the filthy rich, and money buys the brandy and more. I believe my comment is relevant, you are in denial.

  3. Well said my learned friend of above. Referring to ladies as crumpet, please! We are in 21st century now! Buying women like they’re a commodity? It’s hardly respectful. Times have changed thank goodness.

  4. Lord Sewer HAS to pay for grubby whores. What is good about that. The man is a dirty old git who probably requires a forklift to get an erection these days or lots of viagra! No wonder the buffoon has resigned. What an embarrassment. The House of Lords (or is that House of Whores in some cases) needs a jolly good ridding out. I bet his wife is mightily proud of him.
