Matthew Steeples suggests businessman Max Mosley should keep his beak out of press regulation
Max Mosley has the right to do whatever he wants. He is a rich man and if he wants to partake in orgies that’s entirely his right. That he wants to fund the body that regulates the press, however, whilst rightfully his choice financially, is somewhat more dubious and that he wants his past woosh-clunked is somewhat preposterous.
Just as is the case with a certain old crooner and his titleless, olive oil filled paddling pool loving sidekick and their pointless super-injunction, Mosley’s activities with a bunch of hookers in a flat in Chelsea are so incredibly well known. His attempt to erase them from history is quite pointless and though many are getting worked up about press freedom, I simply say this: Max: Don’t brandish the birch, just get on with your life.

Dear Matthew
You always cheer me up!
Why thank you, Anne. I aim to please.
Wooh-hooh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like a bit of birching myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially with yummy birdies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Send the best of them Down Under and I’ll sort them out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone are old and would be better off sleeping in their coffins. Someone should tell the pair of them to just do the decent thing and croak.
Eric, I have no brief for either but that’s a silly comment. It’s as silly as me saying people with characterless looking faces like yours should be sent off to live on desert islands
Mosley has a right to privacy. I hate the Daily Fail more than I hate anything else in the whole damned world.
I can see why Mr Mosley got upset but the regulator should not be the preserve of one very rich man.
Sir Christopher Meyer was a good man and I am sick of your articles insinuating otherwise. He was a good regulator of the press and I am surprised you dare to hint at the decent couple who have the super-injunction as well.
Very well said.
You helped take an innocent and good man Viscount St Davids from the arms of his child and wife. It is utterly reprehensible that you try to interfere in a good man (Max Mosley) and son of an even better man’s (Oswald Mosley) efforts to put a stop to the evil media empires of Murdoch etc. You Steeples should be ashamed of yourself.
Sir Oswald Mosley was a good man? Good Lord, I’ve been misinformed all these years. Yes, Our Ethel is right, the press regulator should not be just one chap, especially if that chap is mega-rich with money to influence.
Do you think Victoria P, Jane R and Stacey are the same person, pretending to be different readers? Three whack-job comments one after the other.
They are all from separate IP addresses, dear Margaret. There opinions are there own but they hold no sway with me.
Well I definitely think the Stupid Stacey and the Vicious Victoria are one and the same, not too sure about the other wacko, Jane R though. Perhaps they could form a club along with Rolf could be Innocent and Gillian Trott. They all love making ridiculous posts on here, that deep down they know can’t be true. It’s as if they want others to lambast them, and they seem to wallow in it. Their little club could be called, The Psychotic 4sum, if they post under that alias from now on, it will make it easier to just reply to the one nutt job.
They all operate from different IP addresses and I do not believe they are the same. I do not, however, endorse their views or any others.
Damn. I do so love a conspiracy theory but this was apparently just a coincidence…. The three witches from Macbeth all went to their pcs within an hour of each other.
I’d kick him in the groin. Filthy bugger!
