Tony Blair should not tie himself to the coattails of Donald Trump; it’ll only make him even more unpopular
Tony Blair – a man worth an estimated £60 million – recently nearly redeemed himself by speaking sense about Brexit but if reports in today’s Mail on Sunday are to be believed, he’s now reverted to his self-serving ways of old.
According to the newspaper’s political editor, Simon Walters, Blair has met Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, three times since September and is attempting “to become a Middle East peace envoy” in the capacity of acting as an “advisor” to the 45th President of the United States of America. A “well placed source” remarked: “Blair has been pitching hard for this job and Trump’s people are taking him very seriously”.
Blair, whose previous claims of having no intention of making a political comeback now look to be utterly false, cannot be blamed for not wanting to sit on the sidelines. Life in retirement most probably doesn’t suit him, but, aside from illustrating utterly no loyalty to his old cronies the Clintons, in trying to get in with Trump he only shows himself as someone willing to sacrifice his principles in order to sit with a clan of brash billionaires and bullies.
Mr Blair would do well to remember what previously took his popularity south were such things as the behaviour of his grasping, money obsessed wife and his toadying loyalty to President George W. Bush. He should realise that Trump can only bring him worse ratings and he should step away from the most unstable man ever to occupy the White House.
Tony Blair could redeem himself by sorting out the Middle East and you dare to criticize him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why do you spread false news about this man when he is aiming to do help the best president America has ever had?????????????? You should be supporting your former leader!!!!!!!!! Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tony Blair cannot be trusted by anyone. He is a disgrace to humanity.
Tony Blair should be in prison.
B.Liar.
Quelle surprise, turns out the Heil on Sunday is not to be believed whatever one thinks about Blair

But… No mention of why he met Jared Kushner – the son of a convicted crook. Curious.
True
My personal view is that Tony Bliar, not a typo, is a war criminal. And his domestic acts weren’t much better e.g. bringing his dishonest buddies, David Blunkett and the ghastly Peter Mandelson, back into positions of power after they’d each had not one but two incidents of wrong doing.
He surely can’t think he can solve the Middle East problems, I mean, he had his chance when he was PM. So his attempts at interfering now have to be thwarted. Them’s MY thoughts.
A lie travels so quickly around the world while the truth ambles behind because so many people open doors and give rides to the lie. Some of them do so out of sheer stupidity, while others are willing the lie to succeed. Lies are usually facile, simple things. If you think the answer to a question as complicated as “what went wrong with Iraq” is simple, it is a sure sign that you do not comprehend the question. It is not possible for many people to treat Tony Blair with either good faith, or even neutrality.
Wise words of wisdom from Dodge. I think those words sums up everything. Thank you.
