In the wake of Fiona Woolf’s resignation, Theresa May must either resign or be pushed
On the 8th September, we called upon Theresa May to resign in the wake of revelations of links between her second choice to chair an alleged cover-up of “VIP paedophile rings” and Lord Brittan. Today, finally, that appointee, Fiona Woolf, has also gone and now, before any more damage is done, Mrs May must follow in her wake.
Theresa May is a woman who seems to like to busy herself holding parties in Downing Street with the likes of her friend Lady Meyer rather than focusing on the job in hand. As Home Secretary, she has upset the police and become a figure of fun because of her obsession with shoes. Ken Clarke has referred to her conduct as “childlike” and even Joan Collins has mocked her on Twitter.
Theresa May’s legacy increasingly looks like a dog-eared shoebox. She should resign or be sacked.
