As Charles Saatchi has his daughter speak to the ‘Mail’ about Nigella Lawson, one can only ask which of the pair is the worse
Charles Saatchi and Nigella Lawson’s marriage is over. On that basis, one would imagine both would like to move on. Clearly, that’s not the case.
On Thursday, Saatchi’s daughter, Phoebe, 18, read the following statement to the Mail newspaper:
“The statement is: ‘Nigella has not spoken to me since she left our house on that Sunday when the newspaper story appeared. She has behaved in a very cold-hearted way. She has been my mother since I was seven or eight and has just abandoned me’. That’s it”.
A marketing pro like Saatchi should have known better and a “transatlantic goddess” like Lawson shouldn’t have upset her young step-daughter either. They are both as bad as one another. Shame on the pair of them.
