Baroness Marie-Claire von Alvensleben taken into custody after an altercation in a Belgravia hotel
On Wednesday evening, Baroness Marie-Claire von Alvensleben, a former associate of the founder of the now liquidated Von Essen Hotel group, Andrew Davis, was involved in an incident at a hotel in Belgravia.
The baroness, who now bases herself in Geneva, made a number of highly inappropriate remarks, offended several guests and then got into a an altercation with a police officer. According to sources at the hotel, she was subsequently taken into custody as she departed from the building.
Von Alvensleben, whom wrote a series of books named Absolutely Everything About can now add another string to her bow. She now knows absolutely everything about the inside of a police station.
