Adrenaline.

Potholes.

 

Tony Blair misses being Prime Minister. What do you miss most in your life?

Cartoons.

 

What might you swap all your wealth for?

New ideas.

 

Donald Trump was once a case of: “If you owe the bank a thousand, they close you down; but if you owe the bank a billion, you own the bank”. What’s your view on the banking crisis?

I find personal crisis more attractive.

 

What phrase or word do you most loathe?

“Time flies”.

 

In the UK, some people consider charity to “begin at home”. What’s your view and what causes do you personally support?

I support dead animals: Every time I find one, I always make sure I take a picture of it.

 

The judge in Law Abiding Citizen states: “I can pretty much do whatever I want” before being blown up whilst answering her mobile phone. What’s your view on the appropriate use of such devices?

I don’t have an opinion on this. I am too old fashioned.

If you could fill a carriage on The Orient Express, who would be your fellow passengers?

Zeus, Vivaldi, Caravaggio and Hercules.

 

If you were unfortunate enough to end up on death row, what would be your last meal and where would you eat it?

I’d eat bloaters in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

 

What time is it acceptable to consume the first drink of the day?

Any time after kids return from school is absolutely fine.

 

A Negroni, a martini or a cup of tea?

I like wine and ales only.

 

Whose parties do you enjoy the most and why?

My own afternoon parties. No one is ever invited but I always expect many people.

 

Who is the most positive person you know?

My youngest child. He is two and a half years old.

 

What’s your most guilty pleasure?

Time.

 

If a tattoo were to sum you up, what would it be of?

The snarling dog I took a picture of a few years ago.

 

If you were a car, what marque would you be?

A Bristol.

I can walk very fast.

 

What’s currently sitting on your mantelpiece?

Three orchids and two red candles.

 

Giacomo Brunelli is an award winning photographer who was born in Perugia, Italy in 1977. He has exhibited at The Photographers’ Gallery in London, the Galerie Camera Obscura in Paris and the Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon.

 

Brunelli will be exhibiting his Eternal London series at The Photographers’ Gallery from 27th February to the 27th March 2014.
