The private view of John Stoddart’s latest exhibition brought together both polo players and personalities
On 15th November, architectural antiques and French oak flooring Salvage Europe unveiled their new showroom at The Mews at The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club at Winkfield, near Windsor with an exhibition by the iconic British photographer John Stoddart.
Guests – who ranged from local polo playing personalities to friends and supporters of Stoddart’s from as far away as Cambridge – enjoyed canapés and drinks supplied by sponsors The London Beer Factory, Konik’s Tail Vodka and VII Hills London Dry Gin. Amongst them were the acclaimed English rock drummer Kenney Jones, polo players Jamie Morrison, Clive Reid and Peter Webb and The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club’s Greta Morrison and interpreter and businesswoman Alexandra Naylor.
Venturing from London to view Stoddart’s works – which numbered images of Frankie Dettori, Hugh Hefner, Elizabeth Hurley and Catherine Zeta-Jones – were such people as Angelo Valentino and Chavín Jewellery founder Simon Ogilvie-Harris whilst apothecary to The Prince of Wales John Webb travelled to the exhibition from Leicestershire.
John Stoddart’s photographs remain on display at the gallery until January and can be viewed by appointment by telephoning +44 (0) 1344 891422.
