Monica Lewinsky takes to Twitter (but don’t expect any mention of Bill Clinton)
On Monday, Monica Lewinsky joined Twitter and within a couple of hours despite her having tweeted just twice, she had gained over 34,000 followers.
“#HereWeGo” rather predictably began the world’s most famous intern who describes herself as a “social activist, public speaker, contributor to Vanity Fair” and rather bizarrely a “knitter of things without sleeves”. “Go figure!” as an American might say.
Lewinsky’s second tweet came an hour later. She stated: “Excited (and nervous) to speak to #Under30Summit”. If that’s all that’s to come, she might be best to stick to being remembered for what went on under the desk of the Oval Office.
