P. Diddy ‘stars’ in Downton Abbey
In a Funny or Die spoof rapper Sean Coombs (AKA Puff Daddy, Diddy and P. Diddy) announces his favourite show is Downton Abbey. “Yes, I am an Abbey head, yes, yes, yes,” he begins before telling viewers that he’s become the first black cast member on Julian Fellowes’ hit show.
In the spoof, Coombs plays Lord Wolcott, the new owner of “this godforsaken manor”. In the 4:52 minute sketch, P. Diddy enthuses:
“I love it here at Downtown [sic] Abbey… I hate it here… I want to stay here forever and ever… Lord Wilcott loves Downton Abbey and will be here forever and ever”.
He tells Lord Grantham:
“You want to invest your money into rail roads in Canada. Me, I found this little company named IBM. You may not know about it Lord Grantham but our kids will love it.
And, as the video ends, Coombs produces a bottle of his Cîroc Vodka brand and tells the Dowager Countess of Grantham and Mrs Crawley:
“Why don’t we stop this bickering and have a sip of some libation? I want you two to kiss in front of me. I want you to use your tongues. Yeah”.
Brilliant stuff.
