Charlie Casely-Hayford (“who?” may you ask) has to be the prat of the century
Old Harrovian and “most influential black in the UK” (according to Wikipedia) Charlie Caseley-Hayford (what a name, invented perchance?) is someone nobody could surely do without. That you’ve likely never heard of him is one thing but that he likes to buy “reference books” (plainly everyone’s favourite weekend activity) is another.
Mr Caseley-Hayford, allegedly a man who spends his days as a fashion designer and one who enjoys going to the theatre (“it’s all about the acting”), is someone who “bowl[s] through the underground” and did a bit of “grab[bing]” after getting sacked from a Chelsea pub for “shattering a chandelier.”
“I’ve always gone [to a park in Hackney] for some alone time” tells Caseley-Hayford to the toady Evening Standard ‘ES’ magazine and despite living in White City (with his, another plug, interior designer wife), here is a man who goes on dates to Lounge Bohemia on Great Eastern Streeet. Why? “It can only be described as Eastern Bloc meets communist Prague.”
With revelations like these, Charlie Caseley-Hayford (whose website amazingly declares: “The Casely-Hayford House has been founded on two simple phrases: English Sartorialism and British Anarchy) is most definitely the man to watch. What an utter bloody pillock; even Alexa Chung better watch out.
