Hypocritical charity boss makes an utter fool of himself
The charity boss who stated that charity bosses earnings were “not excessive” this week it transpires had his 60th birthday party at the House of Lords paid for by donations.
In a post on his blog, Sir Stephen Bubb, whom was disqualified as a Labour councillor in 1986 for five years, wrote:
“‘It seemed just right to celebrate my 60th with a tea party in the House of Lords”.
“I even had a note from Ed Miliband to wish me well, though as he said ‘60; hard to believe it’. And a card from Tony and Cherie Blair. Tony’s nice note was rather touching ‘thanks for your fantastic contribution to the nation and its voluntary sector’”.
This ridiculous individual is a hypocrite of the first order. For that reason, he is our Wally of the Week.
