Wally of the Week: Tori Campbell

News presenter Tori Campbell falls for fake names hoax

A reporter who incorrectly named the crew of a plane that crashed in San Francisco as Sum Ting Wong, Wi Tu Lo, Ho Lee Fuk and Bang Ding Ow had to be our Wally of the Week.

Tori Campbell apologised on Twitter and tweeted: "Apologies to all upset by a story on Noon News. A serious mistake was made @KTVU. My thoughts are w/ victims of Flt 214 & families"

How on earth could anyone with a brain have fallen for this list of names?
How on earth could anyone with half a brain have fallen for this list of names?

KTVU news anchor Tori Campbell has to be one of the stupidest people on the planet if she didn’t realise that whoever made up these names meant to imply that there was:

“Something wrong”

“Why too low?”

“Holy fuck”

“Bang, ding, ouch”

What on earth was this woman thinking?

  1. I feel sorry for Ms Campbell. Her NEWS PRODUCER was the one who failed to pick up the “joke”. Even if she had had her doubts, she would be obligated to carry on with the newscast! PSYou do not have much time to think when the stuff is handed to you to present especially at the last minute. I know. I have been there!…
