Bentley Mulsanne used by the Queen between 2012 and 2014 offered for sale for £70,000 more than a similar car without royal heritage
A Bentley Mulsanne that was delivered new to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2012 is being offered for sale for £199,850 – approximately £70,000 more than a similar car without a royal pedigree.
Used by the monarch until being retired from the royal fleet in 2014, the 6.75-litre Mulsanne was originally equipped with police lighting, bulletproof glass and armoured plates. These were subsequently removed by Bentley Motors along with Her Majesty’s coat of arms.
Of the Mulsanne, dealer Simon Gregg of Bramley Motor Cars told the Mail Online:
“This was a real find for two reasons – firstly, cars used by the Queen rarely come to the market, and also I am a huge fan of her”.
“This car was used to transport her on numerous occasions throughout her Jubilee year, including to the Cabinet meeting at Downing Street and on the day of her Jubilee celebrations in London”.
The Barnato Green with Twine Main Hide eight-speed automatic vehicle has just 5,826 miles on the clock and is currently located in Bramley, Surrey.
