Buy an “increasingly collectible” Bentley for just £3,000
A 37-year old Bentley is to be auctioned on the 20th June with an estimate of just £3,000 to £4,000.
To be auctioned by H&H at the RREC Burghley House sale at Stamford in Lincolnshire, the 1978 Bentley T2 on offer is described as “running and driving but last on the road in 2004”. The dark blue with cream leather upholstery car has 109,000 miles on its clock and 21 service stamps. It has been owned by the Jordanian lawyer and founder of Zu’Bi & Partners His Excellency Hatim Sharif Zu’bi, Hon. G.B.E. since August 1983.
The car has “corrosion evident to the rear wheel arches and an area of rust on the offside wing” and though it is described as “a deserving project” (and also one that will be costly to run and maintain), here is an opportunity to buy a car that is becoming “increasingly collectible”.
