Reduced in price from £6.9 million ($8.5 or €7.7 million) to £4 million ($4.9 million or €4.5 million), the Piano Nobile at the Palazzo Molin – which has counted Mozart amongst its visitors – features 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
It has accommodation totalling 6,565 square feet and is described by auctioneers Concierge Auctions as having “a stunning façade dripping in Moorish and Byzantine style”. It has views over a canal and courtyard but what is most impressive is what is described as a “collector’s space” with a 19 foot ceiling height. It has “gallery walls for displaying large-scale paintings”, an “open space for monumental sculptures” and a Murano glass chandelier.
In addition, the residence, which forms part of a 17 apartment development, has four balconies and access to a courtyard designed by Marco Battagia.
