Bentley launch limited edition Le Mans Mulsanne at Pebble Beach
This week as the world’s motoring enthusiasts gather on California’s Monterey Peninsula for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Bentley will be using the occasion to launch a new Le Mans inspired limited edition model of the Mulsanne.
Coinciding with the 90th anniversary of the first Le Mans 24 Hours race, in which Bentley was the only British marque to participate, the special edition features diamond-quilted hide seat covering, diamond-quilted door panels, drilled alloy foot pedals, sports tuned suspension and steering, quad effect tailpipe finishers and two piece, five spoke dark tint alloy wheels.
Internally, the car will also include illuminated tread plates, four embroidered headrests, a Le Mans clock face and a numbered badge on a veneered cup-holder door.
Only 48 of the vehicles, which will only be available in North America, will be built in six colour schemes, each named after a winning Bentley driving Le Mans victor.
The price? If you have to ask, you most probably can’t afford it but it most certainly will be significantly above that of the $296,000 standard Mulsanne.
