Proof that “The Best 4x4xFar” just keeps on going

Land Rover plan to launch a £200,000 Range Rover

The sale of a 40-year old Range Rover Classic

Just as Land Rover Jaguar have launched their fourth generation Range Rover L405, South Kensington garage Hexagon Classics are selling a much earlier example, a Range Rover Classic from 1973.

Hexagon Classics offer this 1973 Range Rover Classic for just under £40,000
The fact that it has lasted 40 years is indeed proof that Land Rover’s “The Best 4x4xFar” is indeed well grounded

The 3-door 4×4 has been “meticulously maintained” and was the subject of an £18,100 “major mechanical overhaul” in 2011. Presented in its original distinctive Bahama Gold with beige Palameno seats, the vehicle comes with MOT’s dating back to 1973 and an original fully stamped Rover Passport service book.

This 40-year old car is proof that a Range Rover can indeed last far longer than most other modern vehicles. A price of £39,995 has been set.
