Cliff Richard takes to Facebook to proclaim his innocence
Yesterday, Sir Cliff Richard took to Facebook to suggest that he is innocent of the recent abuse allegations made against him.
In the post, Richard wrote:
“Hi everyone, this is just a brief message to thank all of you who have shown support, including those in the Press”.
“I wanted to let you know that I’m doing ok and it goes without saying that I fully intend to clear my name”.
“Just to be absolutely clear, the allegation is completely false and I will continue to cooperate with the police should they wish to speak to me again”.
“Once again….many thanks!”
He may be innocent; he may be guilty. Either way, we would like to know whether Sir Cliff Richard has answered any questions about another and completely unconnected set of allegations that have been online for several years now.
