‘Lady Macbeth’ Theresa May’s resignation honour list is symbolic; it is symbolic of cronyism and the toxicity of those she associated with
Shahmir Sanni claims not to care that Theresa May gave the man that outed him a peerage. Late last night, he tweeted about how Stephen Parkinson, his ex-lover and SPAD to May, existed on “paths riddled with hate, violence and pure evil.” He added: “I am content with the fact that history books will remember this.”
Sanni is right about the former Prime Minister’s legacy as it is indeed nothing but toxic, but others honoured six weeks after her departure are illustrative of this inept woman’s lack of a moral compass.
With the Mirror claiming the list of 41 accolades to be “shameless” and The Guardian condemning it as “cronyism,” that May honoured the only MP out of 650 to vote for an 11% pay rise, Charles Walker, with a KBE is bad enough, but that she also raised the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service Cressida Dick to a Dame is utterly appalling given this strange woman’s role in the death of Jean Charles de Menezes in 2005.
Other shockers on this disgraceful list include a man who has to date given the Tories £3 million, Ehud Sheleg, and the former England cricketer Geoffrey Boycott, a man convicted of assault in 1996. Frankly, if this ragbag of rubbish is all Mrs May could find, we say one thing: “Thank God, the worst Prime Minister in history has finally been batted into the long grass.”
