EXCLUSIVE: Godfrey Bloom suggests that UKIP has become a refuge of ex-BNP voters in response to an article in ‘The Steeple Times’
For many years, Godfrey Bloom was one of UKIP’s most senior members. That he sensationally quit the party this week was certainly newsworthy, but now, in comments to The Steeple Times, he has made clear exactly what he views to be the problems with UKIP.
In response to an article we published on Tuesday, Mr Bloom stated:
“I suggest readers look at my website and make their own assessment. Sadly one of the reasons that has made me uneasy with new UKIP is the significant decline in the standard of membership since we restricted ourselves to immigration. This sort of gratuitous vilification is typical of the ex-BNP voter now sheltering under UKIP colours. They are the despair of we longer serving members”.
We hereby offer Nigel Farage and his merry band a right to reply.
