Philip Hammond’s lost an “opportunity” with his speech to the Tory Party Conference but Jacob Rees-Mogg simply got snapped with a body snatcher
Yesterday in ‘Brum,’ Philip Hammond attempted to rouse the Conservative Party’s answer to Justin Bieber’s groupies with a speech about “opportunity.”
Whilst half the assembled audience looked like they were stuffed toys and the other half went to sleep, Jacob Rees-Mogg decided to give an interview to the BBC outside the conference hall. He got snapped with a ‘body snatcher’ – which was rather indicative of where his fanbase stems from – and then Dr Liam Fox piped up to announce the Chequers proposal coming to fruition was about as likely as Mary Berry going on a cake free diet.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Boris Johnson simply went for a run in a wheat field. What next for the Tories? A charabanc to Sheffield to meet the miners?
