As Sir Cliff Richard’s home is searched, The Steeple Times suggests it is time that this pop star was properly questioned
Christian pop star Sir Cliff Richard may be away on a summer holiday, but it hasn’t stopped his Berkshire home being searched by police in regard to an alleged sexual offence involving a boy who was aged under 16 at the time.
The Steeple Times was amongst the first to name and shame both Rolf Harris and Max Clifford and we’ve long known about the allegations against Richard too. Whilst Richard hasn’t yet been questioned or arrested yet, we will now state that his name appears online on many websites in relation to his having allegedly visited the Elm Guest House in Wimbledon on occasions with a male friend.
Richard – whose hits include ‘The Young Ones’ – incidentally is no longer a British resident and became a citizen of Barbados in 2010. Whether innocent or guilty or what he stands accused, it is time that Cliff Richard was questioned. We welcome today’s developments.
