Whilst one works, eleven watch on in London’s Sloane Square
In America, a group of senators known as the “Gang of 12” are known for their power in “stepping in where party leaders couldn’t go”. In London, though, this week, a very different gang of 12 were spotted by reader and costs lawyer Jim Diamond.
Our Picture of the Week shows eleven men watching one digging on the corner of Ellis Street and Sloane Street. As Mr Diamond himself points out: “The councilors of the Royal Borough Kensington and Chelsea should be incredibly proud of such efficiency”.
