Parents should steer well clear of child beauty pageants
This morning on Radio 4’s Today programme, a strange woman named Pam Boon was interviewed about beauty pageants featuring children and “pop up pageants” in general.
Categories mentioned by Essex based Boon, who runs businesses named Pams Pageants and Mini Miss UK, numbered:
– Boyz 2 men
– Mini miss
– Little man
– Yummy mummy
– Glamour gran
– Wow wow wear
I could not believe my ears. In my view, parents would do well to steer clear of this creepy concept. As with child actors, the only things that result are fantasies for paedophiles and warped youngsters.
