Katie Price’s antics set her on Titanic course
When Katie Price married a part-time stripper named Kieran Hayler in January 2013 everyone cried “publicity stunt” and now she’s supposedly divorcing him, people are rightly shouting the same. Katie Price, love or loathe her, is a brilliantly clever woman with an ability to manipulate the media to keep herself in the headlines and is to be admired for having made a fortune of some £45 million.
With the sex fiend Max Clifford locked safely behind bars for four years, it is now free reign in media circles. With all but the veterans of self-publicity such as Katie Price left without their evil master to control their press presence, this glamour model has seized the day and spun like crazy in the last days about her and her husband’s relationship.
That Price took to Twitter to decry Hayler as a “disgusting human being” and her “best friend” Jane Pountney as “a whore home wrecker slut” yet then met with both “lovers” at the Pountney family home with a full set of paparazzi in tow about says it all. Price plainly knew full well what she was doing and the true victims in all of this, as Jan Moir points out in today’s Daily Mail, are actually her poor children.
However, this morning, when it was reported that “The Pricey” and her unstoppable publicity juggernaut took it one step further and accused Prince Harry’s former girlfriend’s cousin, April Bonas, of also having an affair with Hayler, the public have begun to see sense. This story, it seems, could just be another lot of hot air and part of this 35-year old woman’s obsessive and dedicated efforts to keep herself on the front pages.
That even many so-called ‘fans’ responded critically on Twitter speaks volumes. Thrice married Price is beginning to be exposed for the “shipwreck of a life” that she leads. This glamour model would do well to reevaluate her behaviour before an iceberg hits her Titanic style.
