Writer and filmmaker Amanda Eliasch provides the best summing up of the Twitter storm that has enveloped Dolce and Gabanna
With Elton John attacking Dolce and Gabanna over their views on “synthetic babies” and then carrying a bag featuring their company’s logo in the days that followed, the debate over their remarks has raged on. Whilst Madonna “weighed in” and Ricky Martin “blasted” the pair, amongst the lone voices of reason was the writer and filmmaker Amanda Eliasch.
Eliasch took to Facebook to comment on the row on Friday and commented:
“I have a huge dilemma since Galliano bitched about the Jews and I chopped up his clothes, and there is no more Dior for me. Vivienne Westwood slagged off England so the tartan went in the bin and Dolce and Gabanna talked about synthetic children. Thank goodness for Zara otherwise I would be stark naked”.
All at The Steeple Times say amen to that.
