Environment secretary Andrea Leadsom claims Brexit will bring a better deal for teaspoons
As the British economy looks set to shrink, car prices rise and immigrants run for the hills due to Brexit, teaspoon lovers of the nation can at least rejoice.
In comments to The Telegraph, Andrea Leadsom, the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs secretary remarked: “Once we have left the EU, we will get the opportunity to look at how we can change rules that will be better for the United Kingdom and whether that’s on weights and measures or issues like teaspoons, those are things for the future”.
Here, indeed, is a lady with a great sense of priorities. Not.
