Wally of the Week: Dame Vivienne Westwood

England hating designer Dame Vivienne Westwood has the right to leave

Vivienne Westwood was born in Derbyshire and made her supposed £114 million ($185 million) fortune in Great Britain. Yesterday, in using her London Fashion Week showcase to denounce the Union, she yet again showed herself to be nothing but bonkers.

After sending models down the runway sporting ‘Yes’ badges and placing statements explaining her views on every seat in the “packed venue”, the designer told reporters:

“I am very, very unpatriotic about England… I hate England. I like Scotland because somehow I think they are better than we are. They are more democratic… This is the end of the capitalist system”.

Westwood has previously joined protests against fracking and visited Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. This ridiculous woman should remember that though most believe that we are ‘Better Together’, she, like anyone else, has the right to leave.

We make Dame Vivienne Westwood DBE, RDI our most worthy Wally of the Week.

  1. The grand old queen of punk and erotica that contributed to a permissive society. A weird and eccentric sort, with heavy miles on the clock, a kooky old bird, not my idea of a dame.
