Mother who posted pictures of her child in a washing machine has little to no shame
When Courtney Stewart was confronted by journalists after posting a picture of her 2½ year old son, Caleb, in a washing machine on Facebook, she told them: “We were playing. What are you trying to do, ruin my life?”
Yesterday this irresponsible parent appeared on ITV’s This Morning and though she attempted to apologise for her actions she simply claimed that her “mistake” was posting the image online instead of admitting that she should not have stuck her Down’s Syndrome toddler in the machine in the first place.
Stewart, of Erskine, Renfrewshire, went on to comment: “I’ll admit I am really rough with my son… He’s very rough with me, he’s a really rough and tumble little boy” and added: “None of it was meant cruel, none of it whatsoever. It is just our day-to-day life”.
ITV refused to confirm whether Stewart was paid for the interview and on that basis we make her our most worthy Wally of the Week. Shame on her.
