Camper van driver with no spatial awareness visits St Ives – and leaves havoc in their wake
Camper vans, frankly, are undesirable things. The idea of holidaying in a tin box resembling an oversized sardine can is frankly highly unappealing but one tourist learnt the hard way that such machines are just an utter nuisance to drive also.
In Monday’s Mail Online, an unnamed camper van driver’s escapade was featured after this plainly spatially unaware individual managed to lodge a vehicle – hired from Just Go Motorhome Hire – between scaffolding in a narrow lane in St Ives in Cornwall.
Eventually, with the help of the officers and the removal of scaffolding, the holidaymakers are reported to have continued on their merry way. Locals, meanwhile, probably wish they just go for good.
