The introducers who change our lives

Carlo Mondavi

0609-VF-WE049.01Educated at the University of Aix-en-Provence and the University of Milan, this scion of the Mondavi wine making dynasty married his wife Megan on the Nippozano Estate in Tuscany. Naturally, after proposing at the Opus One Winery, the wedding itself included a wine pouring ceremony that blended Sangiovese and Merlot varietals. He’s also into snowboarding and launched Davi, a skincare range made with the byproducts of winemaking, in 2006. We raise a glass to that.

  1. Carlo seems a very smart and sophisticated lad. Wine is not my cup of tea, far too expensive for my liking.
I am more of brandy man, Esra Siebra used to buy Mampoer from the natives in Botswana. Mampoer also known as Fire water was a strong home made distilled brandy made from fruit. It caused you to catch your breath with the first sip. Esra became so pissed that he attempted to recycle used toilet paper and hung it on the line to dry. I was furious as he still had gippo guts from the night before. Mampoer was cheap and very potent, and would go down well in the United Kingdom. It is guaranteed to put hair on your chest.
