Though never married to the murdered gangland figure and timeshare fraudster John Palmer, Brentwood born Christina Ketley was truly the power behind his nasty thrown. Based in South Weald, Essex, mother of one Ketley is said to own a pawnbroker’s shop, a second-hand jewellery store and a beauty parlour in England and firms that operated in Spain including South Eastern Financial Services. Of her, a neighbour told the Mail Online: “She’s not like of those [gangster’s] dolly birds you see you TV. She dresses discretely and speaks nicely”. Others, however, have far less pleasant things to say of this convicted fraudster.
