Vineyard owner and French actor Gérard Depardieu admitted to drinking up to 14 bottles of wine a day in September 2014 but also claimed he is “never totally drunk, just a little pi**ed”. He has completed more than 170 movies since 1967 and famously handed back his French passport in December 2012. Granted Russian citizenship in January 2013 and a cultural ambassador for Montenegro, Depardieu has been an official resident of Néchin, Belgium since December 2012. Of his relationships with women, Depardieu once commented: “I’ve had affairs. But I’m not the sort of man who has 10,000 affairs” and added “If cinema is a woman then certainly there are many shores”. Pass this legend another glass.
