This Colombian psychopathic serial killer’s whereabouts are currently unknown. When Pedro López, the “son of a penniless prostitute”, confessed to the murders of over 310 girls in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru after being arrested in 1980 for abduction, the authorities refused to believe him. Of why he did it, he made comments such as: “I like the girls in Ecuador, they are more gently and trusting, more innocent” and “I lost my innocence at age eight so I decided to do the same to as many young girls as I could”. He was secretly released in 1998 and though Interpol released an advisory for his rearrest by Colombian authorities over a fresh murder in 2002, this monster is still on the run.
