Of Downton Abbey, as an example of their booze fuelled commentaries, Stephanie Parker remarked: “I wonder how many windows they’ve got? We’ve got 63” whilst when asked about what people think of them stated: “We are ordinary people, we just happen to live in a bigger house”. 1. Brings back memories of the days in Africa under the British Crown……There were many posh pukka Englismen around living in big houses with a army of servants waiting hand and foot on them, no wonder there is a unhealthy obsession with political correctness,by the ruling class.

    2. I would be surprised, Gillian, if their were NOT a number of pieces about amusing, successful people living in attractive surroundings. That sort of thing is what the site is all about, is it not?

      1. Successful people support campaigns like Find Madeleine: JK Rowling, Sir Richard Branson, Sir Philip Green, Theresa May, Lady Meyer……….. FIND MADDIE.
