Arsenal FC has had their best start to the top tier of men’s professional football in England in over 100 years. They are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League with 37 points after 14 games. Based on their current run of performances, are Arsenal genuine title challengers?
Some football fans believe that Arsenal can go all the way and beat rivals such as Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea, to win the league for the fourteenth time, whereas others believe they will not win the league and will more likely end up in a top-four spot instead.
Can Arsenal really win the league?
It’s still early days yet, but there’s a good chance that Arsenal could win the Premier league. The ‘Gunners’ have played 14, won 12, drawn 1, and lost just 1. They scored 33 and let in 11, and they currently have 34 points, which put them at the top of the table with another 24 games to go until the end of the season.

Recent results and upcoming fixtures
Arsenal beat Brentford 3-0 away on September 18th before beating local rivals Tottenham 3-1 at home on October 1st. Their next game was a Europa League group stage match at home to FK Bodø Glimt, which the Gunners won 3-0.
When they returned for Premier League action, they beat Liverpool 3-2 at home. Their next game saw them beat FK Bodø/Glimt 1-0 away from home before going on to beat Leeds United 1-0 at home in the Premier League, which saw them go to the top of the league.
Following that victory at Elland Road, they won all their Europa League games and secured three victories in the Premier League. The most notable being a 1-0 win away to Chelsea, further cementing The Gunners’ position as a top-6 beater, despite the disappointing result (not performance) against Manchester United.
Their 1-1 draw with Southampton was the only blip during this period but, in a season otherwise going as perfect as possible, the Arsenal faithful will surely have already forgiven them, instead praying that their performances can continue once the World Cup in Qatar concludes and all their players come back healthy.
