The first case involving a hoverboard will head to court on 30th December according to a report published in Saturday’s Daily Telegraph.

Nineteen-year-old Omaree Lindsay of Croydon, Surrey stands accused of riding into a Co-Op on a hoverboard and leaving – without paying – with a crate of Lucozade.

 

Expected to be bestsellers this Christmas despite being banned from public places, hoverboards have also found favour with Lilly Allen, Justin Bieber and Jamie Foxx.
