Pulled pork sandwiches and lobster rolls take the menu at McDonald’s into the league of the private jet set
Foodie fads change with the season but when McDonald’s get in on the act, there’s definitely something afoot. This summer, Morgan Spurlock’s favourite fast food chain have added two distinctly upmarket offerings to their menu: Pulled pork sandwiches and lobster rolls.
Offered as a “limited edition” for $5 as an “extra value meal” with pickles, fries and a drink, the pulled pork sandwich has even featured in an article by Delish magazine whilst the $7.99 North Atlantic lobster roll with mayonnaise and layered lettuce on a toasted roll has made it to the even more dizzying and Waspified heights of Town & Country.
The catch? You’ll have to head to New England for your dose of lobster and Indiana for the pulled pork. Fire up the PJ.
