La Brasserie embraces the onesie

On Monday, La Brasserie in Brompton Cross will give a main course on the house to all customers who come to dinner in a onesie.

This novel idea – which will be embraced by the restaurant’s staff and owner, Peter Godwin – got us thinking about this, the Marmite of clothing. Harry Styles, Brad Pitt, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Price and Kate Moss have all been known to wear what some consider to be “giant babygrows” and a “sickening trend”. Others simply view them as a garment designed to just be worn as a bit of fun.

The paps might be prowling on Monday: Prince Harry – a La Brasserie regular – in a onesie would make for a great snap.

  1. It is so lush, and seems like endless fun. It brings back fond memories of the time, I dined with Esra Siebra in a restaurant in the luxurious Cascades Hotel at Sun City. Siebra had ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list.
I politely asked him details regarding the vintage of the bottle of wine. Siebra looked me straight in the eye and said; “what the hell do you mean? I responded; “How old is the wine” Siebra replied; “who the fuck cares, it is fresh, just drink it” Esra Siebra had no decorum or class, he was a diamond in the rough.
Make no mistake, I will be there, dressed and disguised as Peter “Mandy” Mandelson.
It should be funny enough to win a prize.
