Britain’s most upmarket supermarket gets a visit from a woman who likes to help herself and eat in the aisles (in the presence of the racist bigot Marie-Claire, Baroness von Alvensleben even)
One can excuse a bored-out-of-their-brain child for helping itself to a bit of fruit or some sweets as its parent or nanny drag it around a supermarket, but at ‘Celebrity Waitrose’ in Belgravia this week a woman who likes to eat in the aisles paid a visit.
Spotted munching from a packet she’d picked up on arrival, the well-heeled lady and her servant paraded round the store as if she owned the place. She stopped for no one and even – luckily for her – managed to avoid the vicious bigot and convicted criminal Marie-Claire, Baroness von Alvensleben who’d stopped in to rummage through the yellow stickered goods.
What’ll she turn up with next? Her personal chef and a camping stove?
