Mini Cooper Sport nicknamed ‘Chuckles’ by owner Jay Kay to be auctioned; it comes complete with a mini bar and a disco light
Described as “remarkable, funky [and] smile-a-mile” by Silverstone Auctions, a 2000 Rover Mini Cooper Sport with a difference is to be sold at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire on 11th May.
Owned by the singer-songwriter Jay Kay, the lead singer of the jazz-funk band Jamiroquai, since 2008, this “Mini with a twist” is nicknamed ‘Chuckles’ and features a disco light, velvet curtains and bespoke red leather seats.
The best part of the car, however, is to be found in the boot. It has been converted into a drinker’s paradise with the provision of a full mini bar.
Silverstone Auctions offer the car – which has 16,000 miles on the clock – with no reserve.
