Belgravia hotel The Diplomat, which counts the helmet haired racist bigot Marie-Claire, Baroness von Alvensleben amongst its residents, has been condemned for being utterly disgusting
If you want sweetcorn with your full English breakfast and don’t mind finding previous occupants’ hair in the shower, head to The Diplomat Hotel in Chesham Street, Belgravia.
Home for a number of years to the roller-around-on-the-floor-with-Michael Barrymore and all round bigot Marie-Claire, Baroness von Alvensleben (in spite of the fact she told a court she was “penniless” in 2014), The Diplomat has now earnt itself a reputation also for being decrepit, dirty and a downright dump.
Reviews of the property online refer to the “very rude members of staff,” “very sorry bedsheets” and smelly towels. One employee is referred to as “very angry” whilst another male receptionist supposedly treats guests “like a piece of dirt.” Basement bedrooms reportedly have signs telling guests: “Do not drink this water” and throughout the property are rooms with wallpaper peeling off, “fraying, dusty curtains” and “ragged” furniture. Here in fact, is a hotel that needs only one thing: Closing down.
