What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Why do we use it?
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Where can I get some?
There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.

Power Pays

That a convicted paedophile is able to avoid a jail sentence is an utter disgrace especially given pensioners get locked up for non-payment of TV licence fees; Old Etonian Andrew Picard shouldn’t be on the streets, he should be in the clink

Andrew Picard (AKA Andrew Laurence and Andrew Boeckman) was caught with 1,185 indecent images of children as young as eight on his computer. He admitted to possessing videos of a three year old being raped, children being forced to have sex with dogs and sharing indecent images on Skype with an undercover policeman yet he was spared jail and handed a derisory non-custodial sentence late last month.

Eton College, Berkshire and Williams College, Massachusetts educated former USA swimmer Picard – who changed his name from Andrew Boeckman to protect the supposed “good reputation” of his wealthy family during his trial – received a sentence of just 10 months imprisonment suspended for 18 months for ten counts of possessing child pornography in late February and thus, one must ask: “Why wasn’t he locked up?”

Justifying why he spared Picard of Probyn House, Page Street, Westminster jail and why he also decided not to place this privileged pervert and predator on the sex offenders’ register, Judge Peter Ross remarked:

“It has been said that you and your family have suffered deeply as a result of your arrest and public exposure. Your family didn’t deserve that… [Prison] would undo the counseling you have undergone”.

Sallie Bennett-Jenkins QC, defending, added:

“This is a young and very able man who has hopes for the future… He was able to have this opportunity [to seek help] and this was something Andrew sought for himself, by himself”.

In a country where our government actively pursues jail sentences for pensioners refusing to pay their TV licence fees, it is a disgrace that the son of a prominent American lawyer named Philip J. Boeckman manages to avoid prison in spite of the seriousness of his offences. This utterly contemptible decision is something that brings only shame on Britain.

  1. “Andrew sought [help] for himself, by himself” – – WHAT ROT – – He was made to get “help” by his family as part of their efforts to keep their rotten son out of jail. He should have been locked up.

  2. For once you are right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lock the dirty paedo up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lock him up and castrate him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 3 year child that was raped deserves sympathy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This rat deserves the birch!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. He was 17 when he committed the crime and that’s why he got the suspended sentence. I don’t think that is right and would suggest he should have been placed in a Young Offenders’ Institution but you should have mentioned his age.

  4. This is horrifying stuff and this young man really must be stopped. He is now free to infect others and I for one don’t buy that he won’t do it again. Paedophiles, like leopards, don’t change their spots.

  5. In an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect Boeckman was able to sit in his dormitory in Eton College watching children being raped. What on earth were his peers and masters doing meanwhile?

  6. Our judges are just so third rate and here’s the reason why.
It particularly applies to family and criminal law here no high degree of intellect is required.
The body responsible for appointing judges approach barristers’ chambers and as the head of chambers who he would recommend. Generally those practicing the criminal or family law are are a waste of space so, with great glee, the head of chambers recommends his duds. They then become judges….so third rate barristers become 4th rate judges.
I agree with Yolanda. The depth of depravity in these people means they will always be a danger.

  7. This would not be tolerated in the US of A. Rod is right. He should be in prison and kept there for a very long time.

  8. He looks so innocent yet he is a deviant. You never know what people get upto behind closed doors and his family better keep a more watchful eye over him. How could a judge let a man off after he admitted watching videos of other men raping three year olds?

  9. @JackThe Lad. “Does chemical castration cure a diseased mind?”
Was that an actual question? Alas, the answer is no. It can reduce libido, and testosterone levels, of course, but doesn’t affect the desires of what diseased minds would want to do with their libidos.

  10. Is there not a distinction between possesing child pornograpy on one’s commuter and actually having physical contact with the a minor? One is “looking;” one is “doing.” Both instances are revolting. But only the latter establishes one to be a legal paedolfile as far as I know. The old song, “Standing on the Corner” has a phrase,”O you can go to jail for what your’e thinking…” otherwise the entire human race would be in jail on multiple offences.
