Punching with Pippa

Is there a news title that won’t fall under Pippa Middleton’s spell?

First she sent sales soaring with her column for Waitrose Kitchen, then came a role as a contributing editor at Vanity Fair and now, today, Pippa Middleton’s landed a new position at The Telegraph with a new column named ‘Sport and Social’.

Miss Middleton is most definitely punching above her weight in her first feature for the paper titled: “Boxing is a pure but pleasing agony”. In it, she suggests five things to try. One of them is The Telegraph’s general knowledge crossword. Is there anything that this lady, made famous by her sister’s marriage and her derriere, can’t conquer?

  1. Her sister seems to be making quite a good job of her role, but can she not persuade her brother, sister and Uncle Gary to go and live abroad….they really are becoming an embarrassment. A shame as the Duke and Duchess are coming across well, but let down by this trio…..

  2. We were the only Jews in our village. I reminisce of a incident that happened when I was a mere 10 year old child.
I was assaulted outside the local café by a another youngster, he bloodied my nose. I asked him why?
He replied the following ” you Jews crucified Jesus Christ” I replied; “That happened 1000’s of years ago”
He replied; “Well, I only heard today.
Pippa can’t do any worse than the other celebrity columnists contributing in the tabloids. Who are their target audiences?

    1. Chaim….is that a true story? Very illuminating. I agree. I suppose the celebrity culture is now so out of control that it requires just seconds of TV in order to be sanctified as one.
Programmes like Celebrity Masterchef have people appearing I have never heard of(not that I watch it;my wife does. Maybe Pippa could be encouraged to take part….or have a cameo in East Enders.
