Amanda Platell “ran out of sympathy” for the Duchess of Cambridge earlier in the year and declared “the real gay marriage bigots are its intolerant supporters”. Twitter trolls have been called “evil by her”. Why then does she herself write such hateful bile?

Amanda Platell thinks that Cliff Richard should not have trial by media. AGREED! BUT at least he has the money for good lawyers Why should he get preferential treatment because he’s a celebrity. I was involved in a trial that was courted by media but did not have the luxury to challenge the media circus. Justice prevails for those with deep pockets! Thank goodness for the few lawyers that can give limited time pro bono for accused to challenge the often distorted facts of a sensational headline. Trial belongs in a court not the media.
The irony is that the same William Hague is now part of the Angelina Jolie circus. They all want to be part of a circus, it is their choice…..
